Thinking about modern technology, where people use mobile also for internet….well…we like to imagine about those ones that are approaching the next few lines, maybe after a day on the beach under the umbrella. So, please sit down and enjoy yourself with the next story…….

A group of IBBF-Team guys did not resist till next Raduno planned during September 2005 in Veneto County, North East side of Italy…they wanted manage something before….a sort of little Raduno (not official tourney) ,fishing together in passion from the sunrise to the sunset.

The final destination was been decided: Basilicata County (south Italy) Abruzzo (central Italy) and Lazio one (central Italy as well) during August.

First stops: the “earth” of Basilicata and its awesome waters, a beautiful area with lovely landscapes, dipped in the green everywhere, with lakes so full of bass. Protagonists of what we will be able to define a "pre-Lucanian raduno" of August the sixth and the seventh, 2005, have been the members of Lazio ( Ettore, Marco alias Devil, Gianluca alias Tetra, and the two Romans , Bassman and Smumo ), that with big enthusiasm have reached those Lucanian ones (Francesco and Vito, alias Muzungu and Piovich). “Prohibitive” alarm clock was been fixed at 5:30 a.m. with the only purpose to completely comb the fantastic waters of Basilicata, which everyone literally have repayed giving great catching with fish around 2.5 lbs, but above all a Big one (for Italy!) with its 4,15 lbs, happily cought by our avid Muzungu!

Compulsory pics and, with love, the beautiful Bass has been returned to its natural environment according to the rule and philosophy of the Catch & Release. In the evening, we sat around a table full of “spaghetti alla carbonara” and coke supported by the local members so kind and available. Then… laughing and singing all the night till the sunrise in perfect style signed by ibbf-team ..

Second stops in Abruzzo County with Venetians members and Emilians ones. Three days of no-stop float tube bass fishing with also many pikes cough although the hight temperature of water and air.. We would certainly have never expected this pikes’ ”revenge” but the facts have denied bit more.

During the first day of fishing in Lazio County, we caught just one hawg and many other “dinks”. We felt also many attacks of pikes incredibly nervous that cutted our lines without any difficulties. At the end, two “puppy” pikes lost their battle, few lovely pics, and a quick release in the water. The meeting was so good for our friendship and for meeting of other great men and anglers: Vincenzo, Alessandro and Ernesto (sorry if we have forgotten someone). Thanks again for your availability !.

The other two days of fishing, in Abruzzo as well, have given good bass. The local members adviced us to catch bass in the latest hours of the day , right moment due to the hight temperature of the water and the “nap’s mood” of fish.
