Meeting at 3 pm during the day of Italian Republic to the pier number 6-sea Civitavecchia sea port (Rome), with one eye :Sardinia Island, Coghinas Lake, top spot for float tube bass fishing. Full of enthusiasm we have smelt our adventure with the certainty inside the heart going to memorable days, living big emotions, dreaming big hawg, loaded also by the experience and the indelible memories of last year, when we organized the first edition of the National Invitational managed by IBBF-Team. The organization, signed by the team has been as effective as to the usual one and the amazing welcome. In slow evening the place was reached and already to the dawn of the next day the first "tubers" were coming in the water. Few meters of spot, many baits and a voice by radio was announcing the first capture, breaking a surrealistic silence but so magic as well:

bigmouth of 850 gr., weigh appreciable, but nothing respect to that what it would certainly be happened a little time later. That bass has given the "start" to a concert of catching, that no one would have expected. A true and real "symphony" of enjoyment, under the big eyes of who was observing us from banks, so incredulous in seeing that every bass, after the weigh’s check and photo , was delicately released and returned with love to their natural environment.

Maybe we would have been signed like "silly guys", but we think that the philosophy of the Catch & Release has been appreciated and at the same time we hope that in the future it’ll be imitate from who, like our Team, love this sport. A standard size on 1,100 kg has left us in the memory the most beautiful remember and in the arms and the legs a deep satisfying tiredness. Many big pieces till 1,6 Kg with the biggest one , which has blocked the needle of the balance at 1,7 kg cought by our member friendly named “Muzungu” during the last minutes of the tourney. Every evening we went for dinner to Mr. Giovanni and his kind wife, owners of “SA PIGALVA” farmhouse located in Tula village, 40 minutes far from Olbia. Our big “thanks” to Giovanni for the genuine hospitality and for the amazing non stop food service!; for the group was not possible say” STOP!!”
